It’s that time of year, when resolutions and plans start to come to mind and make us take action. Perhaps you are acting on the resolutions you made at the beginning of the year, or maybe you are looking toward the future and wondering what steps you need to take to make your future dreams come true. It can serve as a good example of what information you need to gather when composing a business plan.

We’ll be offering a tip of the month segment where we offer you a little tasty morsel to help dress up your own decorating or pass along a tutorial or site we think derserves somes kudos.

Before March marches out let’s see what we can find in our goody bag.

How about two sites to get us started?

Let’s first take a look at The Center for Food Safety. The Center for Food Safety is a non-profit public interest and environmental advocacy membership organization established in 1997 for the purpose of challenging harmful food production technologies and promoting sustainable alternatives.

They have a very important active petition ready for your signature regarding the sugar you’ll be using to make your yummy treats, unless you don’t mind ingesting 5000% more pesticides in your sugar. Yes, 5000% is the new EPA allowable (thanks to a Monsanto request) increase of glyphosate residues on sugar beetroots. While you are at it, encourage candy manufacturers to keep their 2001 promise that they wouldn’t use genetically engineered sugar in their products.

And finally, want to make a cake with an impression that won’t be duplicated? Make a copy of an ultrasound picture with edible image paper and ink. It will definitely make a statement at the next baby shower.
